As a magician, mentalist and psychic entertainer, Erica will enchant and amaze with her magic and mind blowing mysteries, she will introduce speakers, help the night run smoothly and engage the audience with comedy and lots of audience interaction.

For more than 25 years Erica Sodos has been entertaining and enchanting audiences all over the world. She has made over 5000 appearances nationwide and is a speaker, magician, psychic entertainer, emcee, actress and one of the few female mentalists in the world. In addition to extraordinary magical demonstrations, Erica is known for her incredible memory and can memorize an entire Time magazine cover to cover in less than two hours. Due to continuous packed houses, Erica’s monthly show The Magic Within, Psychic Explorations with Erica Sodos is one of the longest running solo shows in Denver. Erica is a compassionate vegan and animal rights activist and is excited to be sharing her talents at this fundraiser in service of protecting our beloved mother earth.

Anthony Masiello has been working in healthcare for more than 20 years. After earning a BS in computer science, he started his career at the National Institutes of Health working on the Human Genome Project. After overcoming morbid obesity and a series of other health issues himself, he learned that there is a better way and shifted once again. Anthony is now focused on helping people to avoid, prevent, and reverse disease by adopting and sustaining a healthy lifestyle on a whole foods plant-based diet. Anthony is a whole food plant-based speaker, educator, writer, and coach. He lectures nationally, sharing his personal testimonial, and unpacking the mindset and behavior elements that lead to sustained success. JoAnn Farb is a former Microbiologist with a global pharmaceutical company, a nutrition educator, the mother of two life-long vegan daughters and the author of, Compassionate Souls — Raising the Next Generation to Change the World. She is working on her third book, Gluten — The Science that Explains the Popularity of Paleo, Low-Carb and Keto, which which will explain why some people fail to thrive on plant-based diets while making the case to those who must avoid gluten that they can best reduce their future risk of chronic disease by going WFPB. Laurie Marbas, MD, MBA

Laurie Marbas, MD, MBA is double board certified family medicine and lifestyle medicine physician utilizing a whole food plant based diet for the past 7 years. She worked with Dr. Joel Fuhrman creating a new medical model combining the power of nutrient dense foods and intensive clinical psychological therapy to treat not only food addiction but chronic disease. She currently is the Managing Editor for the Plantrician Project’s International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention and works closely with the journal’s Editor in Chief, Dr. Kim Williams. The journal is focused on plant-based research and bringing this important work to the forefront of modern medicine and the general public. She is currently bringing the message of plant based nutrition to patients in their homes via telemedicine.

She graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine where she was awarded the Gold Headed Cane. She also attended her family medicine residency at Texas Tech. She wrote seven books while in medical school, six of which were in a series called “Visual Mnemonics”. These books used cartoons to help memorize vast amounts of information, which helped her when she was a mom attending medical school. She is a USAF veteran having served in the Middle East and South America. She is a wife, mom of three grown children, and an avid runner.

Christina Miller, MD

Christina Miller, MD, FACEP is a board-certified emergency and integrative medicine physician. After training at Denver Health, working for 10 years in the ER, and serving as past-president of Colorado ACEP (American College of Emergency Medicine), she radically changed her practice to lifesyle medicine, due to her own inflammatory disease and feeling overwhelmed with the amount of chronic illness she witnessed daily in the ER. She re-trained in nutrition, lifestyle, and integrative medicine, and now works with patients to prevent, improve, and even reverse chronic illness. She is founder of, works in a clinic in Aspen Colorado, and is helping establish integrative medicine programs at Aspen Valley Hospital and The Aspen Club. Above all, she is dedicated to helping people realize these nutrition and lifestyle changes are not only essential to long-term optimal health, but can be sustainable and fun!

Scott Jurek

JL Fields is a vegan chef, coach, and consultant. She is the founder and culinary director of the Colorado Springs Vegan Cooking Academy and a Master Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator. JL is the author of several cookbooks, including Vegan Meal Prep: Ready-To-Go Meals and Snacks for Healthy Plant-Based EatingVegan Pressure Cooking: Delicious Beans, Grains and One-Pot Meals in Minutes and The Vegan Air Fryer: The Healthier Way to Enjoy Deep-Fried Flavors. She writes the monthly vegan dining review for the Colorado Springs Gazette.  

Kristal Parks

Kristal Parks, M.A., is a biologist, elephant conservationist, author, activist, environmentalist and visionary.

For two years she lived as a hermit in the intimate embrace of a forest and what she learned there guides her vision. Also, Kristal was a human shield for threatened Mayans during Guatemala’s civil war; volunteered in refugee camps in South East Asia; helped end apartheid in South Africa; was imprisoned 11 months (including 4 1/2 months in solitary confinement) for non-violent peace actions.

In 2005, Kristal founded Pachyderm Power! Love in Action for Elephants which worked 10 years to stop elephant genocide in Kenya. Kristal weaves a tapestry of justice woven from various shades, hues and strands of interconnected liberation movements.
